She has served on the Sport Science Advisory Committees for USA Volleyball and USTA Northern California and has won the Publications and Public Speaking Award from the United States Professional Tennis Association-Northern California Division.
Cheryl's masters and doctoral programs in Counseling and Clinical Psychology contained specializations in family therapy, adolescent development and organizational development.
