Ahhhh....
In the midst of Sunday morning political discussions about Iraq, Afghanistan, global warming and the importance of the upcoming elections, it's the small things that keep me sane. About 4 weeks ago, this mother dove and her partner built this fine nest in one day right outside of my kitchen window. Now the two big babies are within days of taking their first flight. I hope I'll have the opportunity to witness it! Click on the picture to see them up close.
