Today, I'm delighted to have the opportunity to interview
H. Reese Butler II, the founder and President of the suicide prevention hotline, National Hopeline Network 1.800.SUICIDE and the Kristin Brooks Hope Center on my Virtual Author Tours Live Radio Show on Blog Talk Radio.
Butler had a very successful career as a businessman building telecommunication and national newspaper companies, when life changed in an instant in 1998 with the loss of his wife, Kristin Brooks Rossell, to suicide. After this tragedy, Butler turned his focus to the prevention of suicide and founded the Kristin Brooks Hope Center and the National Hopeline Network 1.800.SUICIDE. He is a survivor, mental health advocate and a champion for moms who suffer with postpartum depression.
Reese Butler II has just kicked off the 6th Annual Take Action! Tour -- a seven week, 45-city tour that reaches at-risk youth through a live music tour combined with a Take Action Volume 6 2CD/1DVD set which contains music and suicide prevention resources and training materials.
